Breida (5-10, 195) began his NFL career in 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Southern, signing with the 49ers. The running back spent three seasons in the Bay Area before being traded to the Miami Dolphins. He also had stints with the Buffalo Bills and New York Giants.
Breida briefly returned to San Francisco in August 2024, but was released before the start of the regular season.
Over his seven-year NFL career, the 30-year-old has appeared in 98 games, rushing for 2,652 yards and nine touchdowns on 575 carries. He also added 935 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 120 receptions. Breida's most productive season came in 2018 with the 49ers, when he rushed for 814 yards and three touchdowns, averaging an impressive 5.3 yards per carry.
