This isn't the first time Cheryl has pushed for her sons to team up. Just last year, she made her plea public on Instagram, urging the Los Angeles Chargers to trade Joey to the 49ers.
"OMG! Do it for Mama [bear]," she shared on Instagram.
This time, a trade might not even be necessary. Joey, a five-time Pro Bowl defensive end, is set to carry a massive $36.5 million cap hit in 2025. If the Chargers release him, they'd save over $25 million—making him a prime target for several teams.
However, joining his brother in Santa Clara could be an enticing option. In June 2024, Joey was asked about possibly playing alongside Nick one day.
"It'd be cool at some point," he responded.
Entering his 10th NFL season, Joey appeared in 14 games last year, tallying 22 tackles, five sacks, and two forced fumbles. If circumstances align, Cheryl Bosa's dream of finally seeing her sons share the field in red and gold could finally become a reality.
