Trent Williams participated in his second consecutive practice this week. The offensive lineman is recovering from the ankle injury that kept him out of the last two games. The 49ers listed Williams as "questionable" for Sunday's game.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed a report by The Athletic's Dianna Russini stating that Williams would be a "true game-time decision."
"I think he's real questionable to be playing," Shanahan said. "That's what my eyes see, too. ... We've got tomorrow. Tomorrow's Saturday. If it's no tomorrow, then we'll wait to game time. ... Today was half speed, wasn't able to do a lot yesterday, and yeah, I want to know how he feels all the way going up to it."
Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave is also listed as "questionable," with Shanahan revealing, "His knee acted up in practice yesterday."
Defensive end Drake Jackson was limited on Wednesday and Thursday but did not practice on Friday and has been ruled out for this weekend's game.
As expected, guard Aaron Banks has also been officially ruled out after sustaining a turf toe injury against the Cincinnati Bengals on October 30. Shanahan confirmed that Jon Feliciano will replace Banks on Sunday.
