Inactives:
- QB Brandon Allen
- RB Tyrion Davis-Price
- DL Kalia Davis
- LB Jalen Graham
- LB Dre Greenlaw (hamstring)
- OL Matt Pryor
- TE Brayden Willis
On Friday, the 49ers listed two players, Greenlaw and running back Elijah Mitchell (knee), as questionable. Mitchell is active.
During Saturday's roster moves, the 49ers elevated cornerback Shemar Jean-Charles and linebacker Curtis Robinson from the practice squad. This marks the second promotion this season for both players, with Robinson being promoted before Week 1 and Jean-Charles before Week 3.
Robinson's elevation was a good indication that Greenlaw was not expected to play. The linebacker did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, and was a limited participant on Friday.
Oren Burks will likely start in Greenlaw's place.
In a trade acquisition on October 6, the 49ers welcomed pass rusher Randy Gregory. While he was inactive last week against the Dallas Cowboys, Gregory will be suited up for the matchup against the Browns.
The Browns' inactives are listed below.
