The Chargers signed Moore (6-3, 215) as an undrafted free agent out of Findlay in 2019. He registered one reception for five yards through six game appearances last season before being waived on December 17 and re-signed to the practice squad, per Pro Football Reference.
Moore, 27, has caught six passes for 104 yards in 20 game appearances (one start) through his four NFL seasons.
On Tuesday, San Francisco waived wide receiver Shae Wyatt to make room on the roster to add defensive lineman Darryl Johnson.
