The following video surfaced of Lance working out at TCU, and it even shows the 49ers quarterback dropping back for a pass, showing off his footwork. The video is courtesy of Preston Smith Photography on Instagram and was found and shared by @Coach_Yac on Twitter.
Lance is returning from a season-ending ankle injury sustained in September and two subsequent surgeries. He is expected to be ready for the 49ers' offseason program. Players report to Santa Clara on April 17. Organized team activities (OTAs) begin on May 22.
San Francisco made Lance the No. 3 overall pick in 2021. While the quarterback is entering his third NFL season, he has only started four games. Lance turns 23 years old on May 9.
