the top spot on the chart as a 99 overall.

A few notable names were left off the list, amongst them being San Francisco 49ers star Deebo Samuel, who earned first-team All-Pro honors following his spectacular 2021 season, where he caught 77 passes for 1405 yards and rushed 59 times for 365 yards, ending the year with 14 total touchdowns.
Samuel received an 89 overall in the game, tying for 13th amongst all receivers with D.K. Metcalf and Chris Godwin.
Samuel ranked ahead fellow fourth-year receiver A.J. Brown, who received an 87 overall, but behind Washington Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin, who received a 91 overall, good for ninth amongst all receivers.

Following the release of Madden ratings for wide receivers, Samuel took to Twitter to share his unfazed attitude, while adding that the only game he plays is NBA 2K.
