After their impressive season, it's not surprising that many 49ers made the Pro Bowl this season, be it as an original selection or as an alternate. The entire list was: WR Deebo Samuel, LT Trent Williams, LG Laken Tomlinson, TE George Kittle, C Alex Mack, FB Kyle Juszczyk, and DE Nick Bosa.
Bosa and Williams opted out of the event, but the five 49ers' offensive starters took place in the Pro Bowl stationed in Las Vegas, where they were seen enjoying nights with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and former 49ers defensive lineman DeForest Buckner.
During the game, in which the AFC won 41-35 to make it six straight victories, the 49ers skill players shined, as George Kittle had four catches for 43 yards, Deebo Samuel had three catches for 26 yards, and Kyle Juszczyk had two catches for 18 yards and a touchdown.
In addition, the week was mainly fun for the team, as Deebo Samuel was asked to make a hype tape, which the NFL posted.
Earlier this week, FB Kyle Juszczyk remarked how the huddle in practices this week seemed like it was at Levi's since the 49ers had five offensive players on the NFC team.
Pro Bowlers Samuel and Bosa are eligible for extensions this season, with general manager John Lynch already assuring that both contracts have been budgeted for in the 49ers' off-season plan.
While the 49ers had a bittersweet ending to their season, a final moment in the Pro Bowl was a great way to celebrate their improbable run in the second half of the season.
