- RT Mike McGlinchey has been placed on injured reserve.
- OL Colton McKivitz has been promoted from the practice squad to the active roster.
- LB Christian Elliss has been released from the practice squad.
On Sunday, McGlinchey suffered a torn quad in the team's 31-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals and will undergo season-ending surgery.
"You guys saw [Tom] Compton there," head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Monday when asked about the options to replace McGlinchey. "You guys have seen Jaylon Moore play. We'll see how we rep it this week, but probably won't announce that either until Sunday or unless someone's confirmed and I feel better on Wednesday or Thursday."
Shanahan didn't eliminate the possibility of using Daniel Brunskill. However, either Compton or Moore is more likely to replace McGlinchey.
"[Brunskill is] definitely an option, so you've got a number of options in that way, so we can see with that," Shanahan said. "But the job will probably go to those other guys."
