The good news is that Kittle was back on the field during the 49ers' first offensive drive of the second half.
Kittle was hit by Cardinals safety Budda Baker after a high pass by quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo bounced off his hands on the 49ers' final drive of the first half. He was able to walk off on his own, went to the sideline, and had his left leg examined by medical staff.
The 49ers star exited for the locker room before his teammates and was accompanied by team doctor Tim McAdams.
Kittle signed a massive five-year contract extension this offseason. San Francisco entered halftime with a 13-10 lead over the visiting Cardinals.
