The 49ers once again practiced on the Levi's Stadium field as the team tries to work out the noise — or lack thereof — situation with fans prohibited from attending the September 13 contest against the Arizona Cardinals.
The following are what reporters could determine from the limited amount of time they were allowed to observe. The list of those who did not appear to practice had three new names — wide receivers Trent Taylor and Tavon Austin, and defensive end Dion Jordan. However, it is not uncommon for veterans to receive a day off for rest.
Did not appear to practice:
- WR Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring)
- WR Tavon Austin
- DE Nick Bosa (leg)
- DE Dee Ford (calf)
- C Ben Garland (ankle)
- LB Dre Greenlaw (concussion)
- DE Dion Jordan
- FB Kyle Juszczyk (hamstring)
- WR Deebo Samuel (foot)
- WR Trent Taylor
- LB Fred Warner (COVID-19 list)
Appeared to return to practice:
- TE George Kittle (hamstring)
- TE Ross Dwelley (foot)
The two tight ends looked to be going through some light work and were likely limited.
"I think Kittle might do a little bit today, but we're still taking care of him," head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters before practice.
