This was Person's second stint with the 49ers. San Francisco made him a seventh-round selection out of Montana State in 2011. The offensive lineman spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, St. Louis Rams, Atlanta Falcons, Kansas City Chiefs, and two stints with the Indianapolis Colts before re-joining the 49ers on May 9, 2018. The 49ers re-signed Person to a three-year deal on March 3, 2019.
Person has 73 game appearances and 48 starts through his nine NFL seasons.
It was reported on Tuesday that the 49ers expressed interest in former Denver Broncos interior offensive lineman Connor McGovern, who opted to join the New York Jets.
