The San Francisco 49ers don't currently have a lot of draft capital. They don't even have a Day 2 pick. As the Super Bowl runner-ups, they own the No. 31 overall pick and could trade down to acquire more selections in later rounds.

NFL Network ran a feature on Wednesday, asking analyst Daniel Jeremiah to find good fits for receiver-needy teams. The 49ers were among the teams he attempted to find a fit. Who did he come up with for San Francisco?

LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

"We saw that (49ers) offense and what they can do running the football, how creative they were," explained Jeremiah. "How about go get them Justin Jefferson from LSU, who (on) third-down red zones, especially working in the slot, he's just got a real comfortable, natural feel.

"And to let Justin Jefferson team up with Deebo Samuel, kind of be that one-two punch for the next decade for Jimmy Garoppolo and that Forty-Niner offense, man, it would be fun to watch."

Jeremiah sees this draft as a deep one for receivers.

"The interesting thing is, if they pass on these guys ... there will be some pretty good options for them in the following rounds, as well," Jeremiah added.

Jefferson (6-3, 192) racked up 111 receptions for 1,540 yards with 18 touchdowns as a junior with the Tigers in 2019.
