Clearly, he believes his teammate, Travis Kelce, is the best in the NFL. The comment set off a mini-debate during the latest 49ers Webzone No Huddle Podcast, which you can listen to here.
What does Kelce himself, the best tight end in the NFL, according to Clark, think about his 49ers counterpart?
"I think if you were just to compare the run-after-the-catch, he's taken it to a whole other level with the yards he gets after the catch," Kelce told reporters during the Chiefs' media availability at the team hotel on Tuesday morning. "That was something that I really took pride in when I first got into the league."
Kittle is often viewed as the most complete tight end in the league because of his ability to hurt an opponent with his pass-catching and run-blocking skills. He and his 49ers are hoping to overshadow Kelce, a player Kittle has long admired, and the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV.
