The 49ers entered Friday's practice relatively healthy. The only players who did not practice were safety Jaquiski Tartt (ribs) and defensive lineman Jullian Taylor (elbow).
"I'd be surprised if Tartt plays," head coach Kyle Shanahan said on KNBR Friday morning. "He'll end up getting, most likely, a 'doubtful' tag today when we end up doing it. But hopefully, he'll get back here in the next couple of weeks."
Tartt was not listed as "doubtful," as Shanahan predicted. He and Taylor have been ruled out for Sunday's game.
Defensive lineman Arik Armstead was back on the field after getting a veteran day off on Thursday.
Running back Matt Breida (ankle), tackle Joe Staley (finger), defensive end Dee Ford (quadricep, hamstring), and cornerback Richard Sherman (knee) have practiced all week. Wide receiver Dante Pettis (knee) practiced on Thursday and Friday.
Pettis and Staley are listed as "questionable."
Shanahan said Ford will play against the Saints after being inactive the last two games. The coach said Friday morning that he expects his veteran pass rusher to have a big game on Sunday.
Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Saints, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are this week's practice participation reports.
