Peters played on Sunday in Los Angeles' 20-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers and racked up four tackles, a pass defensed, and even hauled in a Jimmy Garoppolo-thrown pass.
The 49ers will next play the now Peters-less Rams the weekend of December 21 (date and time TBA). They also face the Ravens on Sunday, December 1, as part of a two-game road trip (New Orleans Saints on December 8).
Peters was in the final year of his contract, and as Ian Rapoport noted on NFL Network, the Ravens were interested in Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey. With nothing moving forward on that front, they decided to pursue Peters instead.
The Rams initially traded a 2018 fourth-round draft pick and a 2019 second-round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Peters and a 2018 sixth-round pick.
