"Landry suffered the concussion in the third quarter of Sunday's 40-25 rout of the Ravens on a 29-yard shovel pass to the 2-yard line," writes Cabot. "He had a team-high eight catches for a career-high 167 yards that game."
Landry has registered 18 receptions for 328 yards through four starts this season.
As if Landry isn't enough to deal with, on the other side of the field, new starting cornerback Emmanuel Moseley, who is filling in for injured Niners cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon, will be tasked with covering one of the best receivers in the game, Odell Beckham Jr.
No pressure, right?
"Any competitor enjoys being an underdog," Moseley said via Grant Cohn of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat. "You can go out there and prove yourself. I treat every receiver the same. Just have to prepare for him, watch film on him."
While the Browns (2-2) are coming off their impressive win, the 49ers (3-0) are coming off their bye week and are well-rested. Most players took some time off. That doesn't include quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo who opted to stay in the Bay Area and get some early work in on the Browns rather than return home to Chicago.
"I ended up staying here and everything just to try and keep this thing going," Garoppolo told reporters on Thursday.
