Update: Bosa's visit with the 49ers is complete and as of about 2 p.m. PT, he was already meeting with the Oakland Raiders, per NFL Network.
Bosa reportedly arrived in the area on Wednesday and was scheduled to have dinner that night with 49ers brass as part of his official pre-draft visit. He is one of 30 non-local prospects the team is permitted to host leading to this month's draft.
The dates for Bosa's visit were first reported by Albert Breer of The MMQB.
San Francisco currently holds the No. 2 overall pick and Bosa is widely expected to be the team's selection at that spot. Over 77 percent of the 75 mock drafts that we looked at this week had the Ohio State product going to the 49ers in the first round.
The 49ers have become familiar with Bosa in recent months. General manager John Lynch spoke with him during an Ohio State practice in Pasadena leading to the Rose Bowl. Bosa, who was working out in the area, was a guest of the team.
"We had a fortuitous deal. We came down to scout Ohio State," Lynch said in February. "They've got a ton of players. It happened to be the day, him not playing and being around his team, he showed up at practice that day."

Bosa also met with the 49ers at the NFL Scouting Combine in February and during Ohio State's pro day in March.
The 49ers hosted defensive tackle Quinnen Williams of Alabama, defensive end Montez Sweat of Mississippi State, and edge defender Josh Allen of Kentucky last week.
Bosa finished his 2018 season with the Buckeyes with four sacks in three games after racking up 13.5 during his previous two years. He missed the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery due to a core muscle injury sustained during Ohio State's third game and announced on October 16, 2018, that he was leaving school to focus on preparing for the draft.
Bosa made headlines on Wednesday when he said during an interview with ESPN that he had changed his social media posting habits, including deleting his tweets in support of President Donald Trump. ESPN's Kevin Van Valkenburg asked Bosa why he wanted to abandon something he had previously embraced.
"I had to," Bosa responded. "There is a chance I might end up in San Francisco."
