Here is how that mock went and what Brooks had to say about each selection. What is interesting is that he went with a different edge rusher at No. 2 despite Nick Bosa going No. 3 overall in his latest mock draft after the 49ers selected Williams.

Round 1 (No. 2 overall): Edge Josh Allen, Kentucky
"They have to get an edge rusher — someone who can compliment Dee Ford off the edges. Dee Ford coming over, having 13 sacks, he's a dominant player, but let's find him a playmate, and I think that playmate could be Josh Allen from Kentucky. Here we have him listed at linebacker, but in essence, he's really an edge rusher. He's someone that's going to come off the edge; he's going to hunt the quarterback, had 17 sacks his final season in the SEC, Defensive Player of the Year, dominant player. You think about what they can do in nickel situations; you may have two players, a nice one-two punch off the edge."
Round 2 (No. 36 overall): WR Parris Campbell, Ohio State
"He is an impact playmaker, someone that you can give the ball on fly sweeps, bubble screens, still has the speed to take the top off the defense. And I really like that he's a natural pass catcher. I think he can be a nice impact player as their third wide receiver."
Round 3 (No. 67 overall): S Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, Florida
"Chauncey Gardner-Johnson is a big nickel, meaning he's a guy that's kind of a hybrid. He can be a safety. He can be a nickel corner. But what I know he is, and that's a playmaker. He's a guy that can make plays in the slot. He will be around the ball. He's physical. He'll tackle. He kind of fits into the personality of this defense."
