Mullens has had such a good night in his NFL debut that his account is now verified on Twitter. Nick Wagoner of ESPN was the first to point out the change.
As of this post, Mullens is 16-of-22 for 262 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions. The 49ers currently lead 34-3 at the two-minute warning.
The real question is: Did Beathard just lose his starting job again?
