News of the signing was first reported on Sunday night by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
McGlinchey's contract will carry an estimated $18.3 million salary over four years, according to Over the Cap. The team will have an option for a fifth-year, which must be picked up before the tackle's fourth NFL season. The 49ers drafted McGlinchey at No. 9 overall, which means his fifth-year option will be equal to the salary of the transition tender for offensive linemen in 2021.
McGlinchey's signing leaves second-round selection Dante Pettis as the 49ers' only unsigned draft pick from this year's rookie class. San Francisco selected the wide receiver out of Washington with the No. 44 overall pick.
The 49ers' first training camp practice, which is open to the public, will take place on Thursday.
