At the NFL Scouting Combine, the 6-foot-5 and 252-pound Turay had a 40-time of 4.65 seconds.
NFL.com projects Turay to be a second- or third-round draft pick.
Lance Zierlein of NFL.com, who compares Turay to Yannick Ngakoue, wrote the following within his scouting report:
"Explosive edge defender with the coveted traits of an NFL pass rusher. Turay is still behind on feel and skill in that area and will need to develop a go-to move and a workable counter to beat NFL tackles. However, his ability to chase and tackle could translate right away. Turay splashed at Senior Bowl practices and certainly helped his cause to go on day two of the draft."
Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst wrote the following within his scouting report:
"Turay is an underrated edge prospect who could line up as a one-gap defensive end or 3-4 outside linebacker. He possesses solid size and comes with a good amount of upside potential."
