The 49ers were among the teams to meet with Miller at the NFL Scouting Combine.
"Miller stood on his combine numbers yet looked very athletic during position drills," wrote Pauline. "He's a long, lean tackle who moved well about the field. I was surprised to find out many teams feel he'll stay at left tackle in the NFL as I've always viewed Miller as a right tackle prospect. Scouts love his upside and feel he has the agility to stay on the blind side."
NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock believes Miller showed some similarity to the New York Giants' recently signed tackle, Nate Solder, during the pro day.
Miller, who started all 13 games as a junior at left tackle for the Bruins last season, was responsible for protecting quarterback Josh Rosen's blind side. In 2016, Miller's season was shortened by a foot injury. He joined UCLA in 2015 as a four-star recruit and started five games at right tackle that year.
At the combine, the 6-foot-9 and 310-pound Miller had a 40-time of 4.95 seconds, a vertical jump of 31.5 inches, a broad jump of 121 inches, completed the three-cone drill in 7.34 seconds, had 24 reps in the bench press, and a 20-yard shuttle time of 4.49 seconds. Other measurables for Miller include an arm length of 34 1/8 inches and hands that measure 10 3/4 inches.
NFL.com projects that Miller will be selected in rounds 2-3 of the NFL Draft.
