During Shanahan's Wednesday press conference, Cohn stated that Garoppolo appeared to be keeping his head down when run plays were called but raised his eyes to survey the secondary before pass plays. Cohn asked Shanahan if he noticed that as well.
"I didn't, but now I'll go back and check," Shanahan said as reporters laughed. "I appreciate that. I hope Jacksonville's not listening to this press conference. If it is, I'll change it. Thank you."
The Jacksonville Jaguars are the 49ers' next opponent. The two teams face each other at Levi's Stadium on Sunday. Both the 49ers and Jaguars have won three consecutive games.
