The San Francisco 49ers completed the second of three full practices scheduled for this week. On Wednesday, left tackle Joe Staley returned to practice for the first time since suffering a fractured orbital bone on October 29. He continued to practice on Thursday, but was, once again, limited. Staley is not expected to return to the lineup until after the bye week.

Three 49ers players did not practice on Thursday. They were tight end George Kittle (ankle), linebacker Elijah Lee (knee), and wide receiver Trent Taylor (ribs). Veteran defensive end Elvis Dumervil, who was given Wednesday off, returned to practice.


Rookie defensive tackle D.J. Jones (knee), who was limited on Wednesday, fully participated in Thursday's practice.
