Introductory press conferences have become a regular event for the 49ers. This will be the team's third in as many years. The 49ers hope this will be the last for a while. Both Shanahan and Lynch signed six-year deals with the 49ers so the team is committed – at least financially – to the pair for a long time.
While Lynch has already spoken to Bay Area media via a conference call on the Monday following his hiring, as well as taking part in numerous radio interviews, Thursday's press conference will be Shanahan's first meeting with Bay Area media since being named the head coach on Monday and signing his contract on Wednesday.
Fans will also be able to watch the press conference via online streams. Below is a list of options for the Niner Faithful who wish to watch live.
