"Carlos has an MCL sprain," said Kelly. "It's a non-surgical deal but he'll be out for a couple of weeks so he'll be unavailable this week."
"The fact that it's a non-surgical thing is the thing that's positive," Kelly continued. "It's unfortunate we won't have him for Seattle but it was good news for Carlos."
Hyde was hit by cornerback E.J. Gaines following a catch. The hit caused the 49ers running back to fumble the football and Rams defensive lineman Morgan Fox recovered. The Rams would score on the ensuing drive to take a 14-point lead, but San Francisco came storming back to win 22-21.
Hyde came within 12 yards of reaching his first career 1,000-yard season. He would have become the 11th player in 49ers franchise history to accomplish the feat.
The Seahawks may be without starting running back Thomas Rawls when they face the 49ers due to a shoulder injury.
"I don't know that yet," Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said on ESPN 710 when asked if Rawls could play. Rawls had not yet had an MRI to determine the severity of the injury.
"I don't think it's bad,'' Carroll said, via Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times. "But he did get banged [on the shoulder].''
