Signed to Extension (1)
ILB Ray-Ray Armstrong was signed to a two-year extension on Monday. The new deal will keep Armstrong with the 49ers through the 2018 season. He suffered a pectoral tear during the second half of the 49ers' Week 2 loss to the Carolina Panthers and was placed on injured reserve on September 20.
Placed on Injured Reserve (3)
Both LB Nick Bellore (elbow) and TE Blake Bell were placed on injured reserve on Monday, ending their seasons.
WR Quinton Patton (foot) is also headed to the injured reserve list. All three were injured against the Falcons in Atlanta.
Free Agent Signings (2)
Following the announcement of Bellore being placed on injured reserve, the 49ers claimed LB Carl Bradford off waivers on Monday.
With Bell being placed on injured reserve and TE Vance McDonald already out for the season, the 49ers signed TE Jim Dray to a one-year deal.
Activated from the Practice Squad (1)
The 49ers have activated WR DeAndre Smelter from the team's practice squad. He was a fourth-round selection out of Georgia Tech in 2015.
Signed to the Practice Squad (2)
The 49ers also signed LB Brandon Chubb to the practice squad. WR DiAndre Campbell, who spent the past two offseasons with the 49ers, was also signed to the practice squad.

Preseason standout and fan favorite OLB Marcus Rush was claimed off of the 49ers' practice squad by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday morning.
