The 49ers aren't exactly what you'd call overburdened with offensive firepower at the moment. So they made an addition to their receiving core, though he's a lot like a lot of the other players they have on hand. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Atlanta Falcons have signed former San Francisco 49ers tight end Ross Dwelley, who became an unrestricted free agent on March 13. He reunites with another former 49ers tight end, Charlie Woerner, whom the Falcons signed to a three-year deal this offseason. Shakel Brown was among several players who participated in a tryout in front of coaches during the San Francisco 49ers' rookie minicamp last week.
