Reports from Training Camp, Day 1, Practice 2
This was the second practice of the day and started at 4:20pm. The following are notes from both Matt Maiocco and Matt Barrows on their Twitter pages.
The team conducted the afternoon practice in pads.
Parys Haralson and Marvel Smith took the practice off. Haralson was injured during the AM practice. Haralson was replaced in the lineup by Ahmad Brooks.
Shaun Hill took the first snaps with the offense.
Dre Bly was in at cornerback.
Nate Davis threw another interception. This time it was cornerback Marcus Hudson picking him off. Barrows notes that Maurice Price could have made more of an effort to catch the ball though. Maiocco reports that Davis is still throwing the ball without gripping the laces.
No boos for Alex Smith in this practice after a 50-yard touchdown to Brandon Jones.
Terell Brown has a left toe sprain and sat out the PM practice.

Saleh interviewed with the Detroit Lions on Thursday, a job for which many consider him to be the favorite. One NFL insider suggests that particular interview may not have gone as well as Shanahan might expect or Saleh might have hoped.
"Saleh did not do very well in the Detroit interview, I was told. And is not a shoo-in to get the job," Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle said during a radio interview with SportsTalk 790's Adam Clanton and Adam Wexler (via
