Upon Further Review - Video Podcast set #4

Surely AJ and I weren't the only ones who had a lot of thoughts following a crushing defeat last week on Sunday Night Football against the Giants so it should be no surprise that most of the podcast this week covers topics related to that game. Topics this week are:

  • What went wrong against the Giants?
  • What went right?
  • Jordan Devey vs Andrew Tiller.
  • Bright spots for the 49ers five games into the season.
  • Plus, are AJ & I again picking the 49ers to lose? The answer may or may not shock you.

On another note, picking based on the spread? Not an easy task. After an admirable debut (AJ 12-3, Diego 10-5) two weeks ago both of us crashed badly last week going 5-9. Win some, lose some. That isn't stopping us for giving you our picks for all the games in Week 6 of the NFL and yes, there are some spread-beater suggestions in there.

Shoutouts to Fropwns, Lucky Phil, and RishikeshA for their comments last week (Phil I brought the bullet points back per your suggestion). We'll continue to look forward to all of your comments/questions/suggestions on here.

We also invite you to:

We'll be back next week, hopefully after a win. We still want to win, right?

Video shows 49ers DE Nick Bosa's rehab progress

By David Bonilla
Jan 11, 2021

Things seemingly fell apart for the San Francisco 49ers during Week 2 of the 2020 season, when the team lost several players to injuries. That includes the season-ending ACL injury suffered by second-year defensive end Nick Bosa. "The second week of the year, we didn't have the same team," head coach Kyle Shanahan said, heading into Week 17. "I think we had a pretty unprecedented amount of injuries by Week 2. And then I thought that was rock-bottom, and it wasn't. It was the starting of about 30 other bad things that kept happening, all the way to getting kicked out of our homes by our county to come out here for a month."
