49ers players to miss OTAs in June

Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers head coach Mike Nolan said TE Delanie Walker (shoulder), OG Justin Smiley (shoulder), OG Eric Heitmann (leg), OT Jonas Jennings (shoulder), CB Shawntae Spencer (foot) and WR Darrell Jackson (toe) will likely be held out of the team's OTAs, which begin June 4.

Today, the San Francisco 49ers activated defensive lineman Arik Armstead and center Hroniss Grasu off the reserve/COVID-19 list. Still, seven players remain on the list, putting their statuses for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams in jeopardy. Kyle Shanahan informed reporters before today's practice that he doesn't expect Sunday's game to be postponed, as was the case for the Thanksgiving matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.
