2007 49ers Preseason Schedule

The NFL released the preseason schedule today. While most of the dates and times have not been finalized, the order and weeks are now known.

The 49ers will open up the preseason on August 13th at 8 p.m. on to face the Denver Broncos at home, who they knocked out of postseason contention last year in a thrilling overtime win. This game will be televised on ESPN. They will stay at home for the Battle of the Bay and face the Oakland Raiders. Then they will travel to Chicago to play the Bears before traveling to San Diego to take on the Chargers, who are now coached by the 49ers' former offensive coordinator, Norv Turner.

Kurt Warner dives into 49ers draft mindset, states his preference for pick three

Like most of us, NFL Network analyst and Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner doesn't know for sure which player the 49ers will choose when the time comes to reveal their selection at pick three of the 2021 NFL Draft. But he does have a personal preference for that pick, along with some thoughts on what factors the 49ers have been weighing throughout the decision-making process. 49ers fans won't find out for sure who their team will be taking at pick three in the 2021 NFL Draft until just after the first round begins on 5 p.m. PT on Thursday. Regardless, NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport believes there is currently a frontrunner for the distinction and that many around the league would be surprised if that frontrunner doesn't turn out to be former Alabama quarterback Mac Jones. Rapoport spoke recently about what he's hearing regarding pick three with 49ers senior reporter Keiana Martin.
