2007 49ers Preseason Schedule

The NFL released the preseason schedule today. While most of the dates and times have not been finalized, the order and weeks are now known.

The 49ers will open up the preseason on August 13th at 8 p.m. on to face the Denver Broncos at home, who they knocked out of postseason contention last year in a thrilling overtime win. This game will be televised on ESPN. They will stay at home for the Battle of the Bay and face the Oakland Raiders. Then they will travel to Chicago to play the Bears before traveling to San Diego to take on the Chargers, who are now coached by the 49ers' former offensive coordinator, Norv Turner.

San Francisco's Schedule

Denver at San Francisco (ESPN, Aug. 13, 8 p.m.)
Oakland at San Francisco (Week of Aug. 16-20)
San Francisco at Chicago (Week of Aug. 23-27)

San Francisco at San Diego (Week of Aug. 31 - Sept. 2)
