Today, the San Francisco 49ers announced that Al Guido is new team president. Former team president Parrag Marathe is now chief strategy officer and executive VP of football operations.
This change was
revealed back in December, but the team announced that it would not become official until after Super Bowl 50.

San Francisco 49ers teammates have been calling the young star linebacker "All-Pro Fred" for some time. Now, it is official. Fred Warner has finally been named a first-team All-Pro by the Associated Press.
Warner, 24, also earned his first Pro Bowl selection this past season. Additionally, he earned the 49ers' top team-issued awards for his contributions this past season — the Len Eshmont Award and the Bill Walsh Award.

The San Francisco 49ers announced team award winners for the 2020 season on Monday morning. Among the winners is Fred Warner, who earned the prestigious Len Eshmont Award.

Len Eshmont Award
LB Fred Warner
The Len Eshmont Award is voted on by the players and is given to the 49er who best exemplifies the inspirational and courageous play of Len Eshmont, an original member of the 1946 49ers team. Eshmont, who coached at Navy and Virginia following his career in San Francisco, died in 1957. The award was established that year.
