NFL Network posted the video of the eight inductees, including former San Francisco 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo, being told for the first time that they made it into the 2016 class for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

It's a fun watch as the eight open their hotel room doors and realize that a dream has just come true.

After purchasing the 49ers in 1977, DeBartolo helped the team to five Super Bowl championships and 16 consecutive seasons of 10 or more wins during his 23 years as owner. The five championships the 49ers won in 14 years remains a record total for a single owner.
