The 2007 NFL team schedules will be released on Thursday, April 5th. While opponents have been known since the end of the 2006 season, the actual dates and times of each opponent have not.

The following are the teams that the 49ers will face in 2007.

49ers, NFL teams can begin Phase 1 of OTAs on April 19

The NFL has informed teams that they can begin Phase 1 of organized team activities (OTAs) on Monday, April 19, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. There remains some uncertainty over how the offseason program might look given the impact of COVID-19. How much will be in-person versus virtual? The NFL informed clubs today they can begin Phase 1 of OTAs on April 19, per source. Players are still allowed to work out at the facility in small groups, as many have been. Trust nothing. No, I am not talking about the pre-draft chatter that the San Francisco 49ers are locked in on Alabama quarterback Mac Jones with the No. 3 overall pick. Although, I tend not to trust pre-draft chatter either. I am talking about April Fools' Day. Sorry, George Kittle. No one is falling for this one. The 49ers' All-Pro tight end tweeted out the following, hoping to fool some gullible fans by suggesting that he had been traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He even included a mock-up of himself in his new uniform. Next chapter... thanks to the faithful for all the support!



Justin Fields to throw again for NFL teams on April 14; 49ers expected to attend

Much was said of San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch's absences from Ohio State's pro day last week. Instead of traveling to Columbus to watch quarterback Justin Fields, a candidate to be drafted with the team's No. 3 overall pick, the duo was in Tuscaloosa for Alabama's pro day, watching Mac Jones. Why Jones over Fields? "[Just] talking with Fields' agent [David Mulugheta] and everything, we'll get another one from him too," Shanahan explained last week, per Kirk Larrabee. "So we'll be able to see him. That kind of made it an easy decision." According to Fields' agent, that next opportunity will come on



Trey Lance to hold second pro day on April 19; 49ers expected to attend

Justin Fields of Ohio State will hold his second pro day workout on Wednesday, April 14. San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch are expected to be in attendance. Both missed the former Buckeye quarterback's first pro day to attend Mac Jones' workout in Tuscaloosa. Shanahan and Lynch will have an opportunity to see quarterback Trey Lance of North Dakota State in person too.
