Banta-Cain visits 49ers; No interest in Porter

Matt Maiocco of the Press Democrat has reported that free agent linebacker Tully Banta-Cain is meeting with or has met with the 49ers today. He is scheduled to visit the Steelers tomorrow unless the 49ers can persuade him not to get on the flight by giving him a contract.

Matt also states that the 49ers have NO interest in linebacker Joey Porter.

Three San Francisco 49ers players were named to Pro Football Focus' 2020 Midseason NFL All-Pro Team. Two on defense and one on offense. 49ers place Jaquiski Tartt on injured reserve, announce other roster moves

The San Francisco 49ers have announced that safety Jaquiski Tartt has been placed on injured reserve. He suffered a turf toe injury during the team's Week 9 loss to the Green Bay Packers.
