LB Shayne Skov, who was waived by the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday to make room for C Daniel Kilgore, has been re-signed by the team. The 49ers were able to do this because that have placed TE Garrett Celek on the injured reserve list, ending his season.

Celek, who was injured against the Arizona Cardinals, met with doctors on Monday to see where he was at with his high ankle sprain.

TE Vance McDonald is going through the concussion protocol this week after a Chicago Bears defensive player impacted the back of the 49er tight end's helmet with his knee in the second quarter on Sunday. McDonald left the game and did not return. The only other tight end on the active roster is rookie Blake Bell.

This season, Celek had 19 receptions for 186 yards and three touchdowns.
