According to 49ers.com, the San Francisco 49ers have tendered contract offers to punter Andy Lee, running back Maurice Hicks and guard Tony Wragge.

Lee and Hicks are restricted free agents meaning that they can negotiate with other teams for contracts up until April 27th. The 49ers will then have the option to match any offer. Wragge will only be able to negotiate with the 49ers.

49ers.com also reported that linebacker Derek Smith had eye surgery, preventing him from participating in practices until preseason, and that special assistant to the head coach Robert Talley has left the team to become the new head coach of Stonehill College.
