With the San Francisco 49ers' home opener against the Seattle Seahawks right around the corner, I had the chance to check out the 49ers' concession showcase in partnership with Levy. It's always a great opportunity to check out new food selections and local vendors being added into the mix for this upcoming season. Executive Chef "Kitchen QB" Jon Severson was on hand to showcase the menu with a colorful red-and-gold display featuring foods from both general concessions and concession partners. Prior to partnering with Levi's Stadium, Severson brings nearly 20 years of experience working with NFL, NBA, and

Congratulations to the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium during Sunday's 27-7 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Linebacker Fred Warner believes you played a significant role in helping the team overcome the devastating loss of a teammate and earning its first win of the season. The linebacker loved the element that the home crowd brought to the game. "Huge. Huge, huge, huge," Warner said after the game. "I mean, I've been a part of some pretty loud games. That one was super loud from the start to the finish. I was so happy to be back home in front of our fans. "It's The Faithful. They call them The Faithful for a reason, so it was super fun to be back out there." The 49ers welcomed a return to Levi's Stadium after a disappointing and unexpected

49ers' Jeff Wilson: Trey Lance was ready to prove critics wrong before injury

"We got your back," San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner told Trey Lance after the young quarterback was helped onto a cart following his ankle injury this past weekend. "I'll be back," Lance responded. This year was supposed to be an on-the-job learning season for Lance, who started just two games during his rookie 2021 campaign. Instead, this year's in-game development was cut short after less than five quarters of play. Jimmy Garoppolo takes over at quarterback, and the 49ers remain a competitive team thanks to the veteran's experience and the roster's talent level. Still, the loss of Lance stings. The 22-year-old is the future, and now his development has hit another

"I've got to be ready": 49ers rookie Brock Purdy discusses his mindset as Jimmy Garoppolo's backup

All signs point toward Brock Purdy being active on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. It will be the first time he has suited up for a regular-season NFL game after being inactive for Weeks 1 and 2. Fullback Kyle Juszczyk was the emergency quarterback against the Seattle Seahawks after starter Trey Lance went down with a season-ending ankle injury. San Francisco made Purdy the last selection in the 2022 NFL Draft—Mr. Irrelevant. However, the rookie quarterback has been pretty relevant for the 49ers this year. Coaches were pleased with what he showed in training camp and the preseason. So pleased that Purdy beat out Nate Sudfeld. "He steps into that huddle, and it's his huddle," general manager John Lynch said of Purdy after the 53-man roster was assembled.
