49ers move today’s practice to nearby practice field

Aug 3, 2015 at 11:11 AM--

Like their first two practices, the San Francisco 49ers had been scheduled to conduct today's practice at Levi's Stadium.

According to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area, the team has decided to move the practice to their nearby fields that sit behind the team's headquarters next door.

Just as it did on Saturday night, the Levi's Stadium field did have continued issues during yesterday's practice. The news of the sod problems has escalated quickly among the media.

The team remains committed to having their Wednesday practice, which will be in front of SBL holders, at Levi's Stadium.

Maiocco also stated that the team's next re-sodding will be after Taylor Swift concerts in mid-August.

The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Divisional round to advance to the NFC Championship Game next weekend, winning in a 19-12 bout after holding their opponent scoreless over the last 11 minutes of the game. However, their win came without a sack from their star defensive end Nick Bosa, who has now gone without a sack in two consecutive weeks for the first time since Weeks 16 and 17 of the 2021 season, playoffs included. Bosa had only gone three games without a sack in the regular season, but has now missed a sack in two consecutive games, including a zero-pressure game against the Seahawks last weekend. But, zero sacks don't mean zero impact, and Bosa believed that his performance was a good one following San Francisco's

The 49ers escaped Saturday's playoff win over the Seattle Seahawks relatively unscathed. Only two players, the same ones who were inactive this past weekend due to injuries, did not practice on Wednesday, not counting tackle Trent Williams, who gets a veteran day off. They are quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and cornerback Ambry Thomas. Only three players—wide receiver Jauan Jennings, defensive end Samson Ebukam, and defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw—were limited practice participants. The 49ers will benefit from extra rest, having last played on Saturday. They will have seven full
