Apr 30, 2015 at 11:47 AM--

It looks like the San Francisco 49ers new alternate jersey may look very similar to the one used by quarterback Colin Kaepernick during practices. The jersey top is black with red numbers and letters.

The jersey is already getting mixed reviews on social media.

The following is a preview that was caught on Snapchat and saved and then obtained and posted on Twitter by Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area.

49ers Notebook: Shanahan happy with backup RBs in Mitchell's absence; 49ers overcome unusual week; Saints' impressive streak snapped

By Kirk Larrabee
Nov 27

It was a strange week for the San Francisco 49ers, who had to work through an unusual schedule that saw them arrive home from their Monday night game in Mexico City in the early morning hours on Tuesday, followed by Thanksgiving on Thursday. Still, they managed to work through it and prepare themselves to play against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, and in the end they came out on top with a 13-0 win. How did the 49ers work through that schedule? We'll look at that in this version of 49ers Notebook, along with some postgame thoughts from head coach Kyle Shanahan on the running back situation, a look at an impressive streak the 49ers snapped on Sunday, and much more. The 49ers' Defense is Becoming Elite Again: 5 Observations about Saints-49ers

By JD Salazar
Nov 28

This 2022 iteration of the 49ers is endlessly fascinating to watch. One of the best teams in football one week, getting humiliated the next. Back to the future, forward with the past. But as turbulent and ramshackle as it's been, the 49ers are morphing into a team ready to dominate in the playoffs, just as head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch have always believed. Here are 5 observations from yesterday's win over the Saints. 1. The Scoreless Streak Extends to 4… In the second half of the past 4 games, the 49ers haven't allowed a point. None. Zip. Zilch. Nada. The Rams, Chargers, Cardinals, and now Saints have all failed to crack the scoreboard once after halftime. While only this last contest has been a pure shutout, that mark remains

By Sasha D. Robinson

Is the Jimmy Garoppolo who threw for 228 yards and four touchdowns the guy San Francisco 49ers fans were looking for or is this an illusion like last year? Since stepping back into the starting role for quarterback Trey Lance, who suffered an ankle injury in Week 2 against the Seattle Seahawks, the 49ers have a 6-3 record. Garoppolo has thrown 15 touchdowns and four interceptions, but there is something different about him this year compared to his past couple of years with the team. Garoppolo does not look like the same player who lost a heartbreaker in last year's NFC Championship Game. Instead, he has the fiery presence of someone you want to follow on and off the field. Even the former Eastern Illinois Panther quarterback's deep ball seems to have more

49ers-Saints Injury Report: Deebo Samuel still listed as "limited"

By David Bonilla
Nov 24

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 12 contest against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The media did not have access to watch the Thanksgiving practice. The team gave them the day off due to the holiday. That means there are no observations to report from the Thursday session, which was a lighter walk-through. Reporters will return to watch the last practice of the week, which begins on Friday at 12:18 p.m. PT. On Wednesday, the 49ers were without defensive lineman Arik Armstead, and wide receiver Deebo Samuel and defensive end Samson Ebukam were limited. That remained the case on Thursday. Tackle Trent Williams returned from his veteran day off. Below are Thursday's
