RB Frank Gore (right ankle) is listed as probable for next week's game against the Saints. X-rays after the game were negative, but he is expected to be re-evaluated on Monday.

LB Manny Lawson (ribs) had X-rays in the first half, but returned to action without missing any action. He is probable for next week's game.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters on Monday, the day after the team's 24-20 season-opening loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He provided some injury updates during the Zoom call. Fans are probably eagerly awaiting an update on George Kittle, and Shanahan provided one. The All-Pro tight end suffered a knee sprain during the first half against the Cardinals. He left for the locker room just before halftime to be examined. Kittle returned with his teammates in the second half and played for the remainder of the game. "He has a knee sprain. We'll see how he comes in on Wednesday," Shanahan told reporters. "He was a little sore today, but we'll wait to see how he is on Wednesday to see if he's able to practice or be able to go

MetLife misery: 49ers injury updates on Jordan Reed and Emmanuel Moseley

San Francisco 49ers tight end Jordan Reed tried to stay inbounds in the end zone while hauling in a pass from quarterback Nick Mullens during the first quarter against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium. The veteran appeared to roll his ankle on the play, leaving the Niners down to Ross Dwelley and rookie Charlie Woerner at tight end. Reed was ruled out of bounds on the play. The 49ers later announced that Reed was "questionable" to return, and the tight end did so during the second quarter. He was, however, seen on the sideline late in the first half having his left knee and leg examined by the medical staff.
