The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 2 matchup at home against the Seattle Seahawks. These players will not suit up for Sunday's game. Inactives: OL Daniel Brunskill (hamstring) TE George Kittle (groin) QB Brock Purdy DL Kemoko Turay OL Nick Zakelj Tight end George Kittle was not expected to play in this Week 2 matchup. He continues to deal with the groin strain suffered on September 5. There was some hope that the All-Pro player would find his way onto the field against the division-rival Seahawks, but a return in Week 3 against the Denver

The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 3 matchup on the road against the Denver Broncos. These players will not suit up for Sunday's game. Inactives: DL Arik Armstead (foot) OL Daniel Brunskill (hamstring) RB Tyrion Davis-Price (ankle) TE Tyler Kroft (knee) DL Kemoko Turay OL Nick Zakelj Tight end George Kittle is set to play for the first time this season. He missed Weeks 1 and 2 with a groin injury. Defensive lineman Arik Armstead tested his foot before kickoff but is unable to go. He is inactive. 49ers Twitter and Facebook are melting down. All it took was one ugly loss, and many fans have already turned on the coaching staff, and the young quarterback, while declaring the season over. There's still much to discuss (and much to move on from) when it comes to the 49ers' Week 1 loss to the Chicago Bears, and on Thursday it was time for defensive coordinator DeMeco Ryans and offensive line coach/run game coordinator Chris Foerster to offer their perspectives on what went right and what went wrong last Sunday. Ryans gave some thoughts on the performance of a couple key defensive linemen, while each coach gave their evaluation of the rookies on their side of the ball that got significant playing time.
