Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis (fibula) missed practice Friday, Nov. 10, and will not play Week 10. He is listed as doubtful on the team's injury report.

SS Chad Williams (quadriceps) practiced Friday, Nov. 10, and has been upgraded to probable.

CB Walt Harris (hip) practiced Friday, Nov. 10, and has been upgraded to probable.

Jason Verrett is done talking about his injury-plagued past. The veteran cornerback landed on injured reserve during his rookie 2014 campaign and then again in 2016, 2017, and 2018. That last one was a torn Achilles suffered during training camp with the Chargers. The San Francisco 49ers took a risk on the injured defender, signing him to a one-year deal while hoping he would recover in time for the 2019 season. Verrett appeared in just one game before landing on injured reserve again, this time with an ankle injury. Last year was different, though. Verrett made it through most of 2020 unscathed and was among the 49ers' best defensive backs. San Francisco re-signed him this offseason. San Francisco 49ers sign OL Senio Kelemete, waive OL Justin Skule with injury designation

The San Francisco 49ers added some depth and experience to their offensive line on Friday, signing versatile veteran Senio Kelemete to a one-year deal. News of the signing was first reported by Mike Garafolo of NFL Media on Friday morning. The 49ers officially announced the move later in the day. To make room for Kelemete on the roster, the 49ers waived third-year lineman Justin Skule with an injured designation. Skule will be out for the 2021 season after tearing his ACL at practice earlier this week. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the New York Jets are signing former San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ronald Blair. Blair visited with the 49ers in April and reportedly underwent a physical. Pro Football Focus released its rankings of the top 32 outside cornerbacks and top 32 slot cornerbacks ahead of the 2021 season, and one player in each category represented the San Francisco 49ers.
