49ers receive approval from Santa Clara County to move forward with training camp

San Francisco 49ers rookies, quarterbacks, and injured players will report to the team's facility tomorrow for COVID-19 testing. The rest of the team will arrive next week. After testing, players will self-quarantine and then return a few days later for another round of testing. Should both test results return negative, the players will be cleared to enter the team facility. Santa Clara County was reviewing the 49ers' plans and protocols for conducting training camps safely amidst the pandemic, and today approved those plans, according to Matt Barrows of The Athletic.
