First wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (Colts) comes off the board and then Julian Edelman (Patriots). Now it looks like the San Francisco 49ers may lose out on free agent receiver Emmanuel Sanders. The former Pittsburgh Steeler is expected to sign with the Denver Broncos where he will replace number two receiver Eric Decker, who signed with the New York Jets.
Sanders, who is 26 years old, was drafted in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Steelers. He had 114 catches for 1,521 yards and 5 touchdowns during his four seasons with the team.
Sanders was scheduled to visit with the 49ers on Saturday.
