Free agent safety Charles Woodson, who visited all day yesterday with the San Francisco 49ers, is waiting to hear from the team.

According to his agent Carl Poston, who spoke on 95.7 The Game today, they are waiting to hear back from the 49ers and feel that everything went well with the team. Woodson wants to go to a contender and if the numbers are right, Poston feels that Woodson would want to play in San Francisco. It appears that the ball is in the 49ers' court.

Poston says that he has not even talked contract numbers with the 49ers regarding Woodson.
