San Francisco 49ers star tackle Trent Williams is dealing with an ankle injury. It's put his status for Sunday's NFC Championship Game matchup against the Los Angeles Rams into question. However, the Niners' general manager knows better than to question a motivated Williams. "I never doubt Trent Williams," John Lynch said Thursday on KNBR's Tolbert, Krueger & Brooks show. "I know how much this means to Trent. I believe, in his 11th year in the league, he hasn't had many opportunities in the playoffs. A guy like that, football means so much to him. He's going to do everything in his power, and Trent is doing that." Williams has not practiced yet this week, missing Wednesday and Thursday's sessions. On Friday, the team will hold one more practice
