Demetric Evans will visit again on Monday

The Washington Post reports that free agent Demetric Evans visited the San Francisco 49ers on Friday, March 17th.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Evans was given a physical by the 49ers on Saturday, March 18, and likely will visit with coaches Monday, March 20.

The 6'3", 285 lb defensive end has spent the past two seasons with The Washington Redskins. Prior to that, he spent his first 3 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. Evans has appeared in 48 total career games, made 73 tackles and sacked the quarterback 6.5 times.

Michael Irvin once again backs 49ers legend Jerry Rice as the all-time greatest receiver

There was never any debate in the minds of San Francisco 49ers fans. Jerry Rice is the greatest wide receiver to ever step onto a football field. Randy Moss had a different opinion, which was enough for the former NFL receiver to grab some headlines and start some debate in December. During a conversation with Terrell Owens, Moss said he was the greatest, followed by Owens. Yes, Moss placed Rice at "third or fourth" on his personal ranking. Most laughed at the idea that Moss should be considered the best ever. One of the many who backed Rice for the title is another Hall of Fame receiver, Michael Irvin.
