Demetric Evans will visit again on Monday

The Washington Post reports that free agent Demetric Evans visited the San Francisco 49ers on Friday, March 17th.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Evans was given a physical by the 49ers on Saturday, March 18, and likely will visit with coaches Monday, March 20.

The 6'3", 285 lb defensive end has spent the past two seasons with The Washington Redskins. Prior to that, he spent his first 3 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. Evans has appeared in 48 total career games, made 73 tackles and sacked the quarterback 6.5 times.

It's already confirmed that the San Francisco 49ers will kick off their 2024 regular season at home against the New York Jets on "Monday Night Football." Last season was frustrating for anyone covering the San Francisco 49ers, as it meant missing out on family activities due to the team playing games on Thanksgiving night and Christmas night. Although the Christmas night game was less burdensome because most family activities were done by then.
